Clinkz vs Jakiro

How this matchup plays

Getting caught alone by Clinkz is usually fatal for Jakiro. Every one of Jakiro's spells, from Ice Path to Macropyre, has a significant cast time or travel delay. Clinkz can appear from Skeleton Walk and unload a full Burning Barrage before Jakiro has a chance to react. Even if a response is attempted, Strafe lets Clinkz sidestep projectiles and reposition easily, making it incredibly difficult to land a crucial stun or slow. The fundamental speed difference in their kits creates the core of the problem.

Throughout the game, this forces Jakiro into a very passive role. He can't safely ward or push out lanes alone, which is normally where he'd apply pressure with Liquid Fire. Clinkz effectively zones him back toward his team's side of the map. Jakiro's best bet is to stay glued to a teammate with a reliable lockdown, but a patient Clinkz will simply wait for a fight to start and hunt for the twin-headed dragon on the back lines once other spells are on cooldown.
