Clinkz vs Kez

How this matchup plays

Getting jumped by an invisible Clinkz is tough for most heroes, but Kez's parry abilities give him a fighting chance. The issue is that Burning Barrage is a long channel with many individual arrows. Unless Kez can block the entire duration, Clinkz usually gets enough damage through to finish the job. Clinkz also dictates the engagement; he can wait for the parry to be on cooldown or for Kez to be occupied before he attacks from the shadows. The pressure is on Kez to have perfect reactions to a threat he can't see coming.

Across the map, this means Clinkz spends his time hunting for an opening, trying to catch Kez away from his team. Kez has to play cautiously, often needing his allies nearby for vision or a counter-initiation. If Kez does anticipate the gank and successfully parries the initial burst, Clinkz is left exposed and vulnerable. More often, however, Clinkz's map control and ability to choose his fights give him a small but consistent advantage, forcing Kez into a reactive posture for much of the game.
