Clinkz vs Nyx Assassin

How this matchup plays

Getting jumped by a Clinkz is usually a death sentence, but Nyx Assassin has the perfect tool to turn it around. Clinkz needs to unload his full damage with Burning Barrage to secure a kill, but a well-timed Spiked Carapace will reflect a huge portion of that damage and stun him, often leading to his own death. Even if Carapace isn't available, Nyx's stun from Impale can hold Clinkz in place for a counter-attack. The constant threat of Mana Burn also chips away at Clinkz's limited resources, making it harder for him to use Skeleton Walk to escape or engage.

The whole map becomes a tense hunting ground for these two heroes. An encounter often comes down to who sees the other first and whether their key spells are ready. A careful Clinkz can try to bait out Spiked Carapace or find a window where Nyx Assassin has used his stun on someone else. Conversely, a Nyx who gets the initiation with Vendetta can lock down and eliminate Clinkz before he can react. The fight is very dependent on individual awareness and predicting the other player's movements, making it a true toss-up.
