Clinkz vs Outworld Destroyer

How this matchup plays

Relying on Astral Imprisonment to save yourself from a gank often doesn't work out against Clinkz. His burst from Skeleton Walk is extremely fast, and Burning Barrage can melt a target before Outworld Destroyer even gets a chance to react. Even if he does manage to banish himself, Clinkz can easily reposition and finish the job when the ability ends. This dynamic puts heavy pressure on OD to survive the initial assault, because his own ultimate, Sanity's Eclipse, is devastating against a low-mana hero like Clinkz.

Throughout the game, this means Clinkz is usually the one hunting. He wants to find a solo Outworld Destroyer and pick him off to create an advantage. OD's game plan becomes about survival: getting good vision down, buying an early defensive item like a Force Staff, and staying close to his team. The matchup leans in Clinkz's favor because he gets to choose his fights, forcing OD to play reactively and making it hard for him to farm safely or control the map.
