Clinkz vs Spirit Breaker

How this matchup plays

Charging a lone target is often disrupted by Spirit Breaker's Charge of Darkness. The ability gives vision and a lockdown, both of which are major problems for Clinkz. He relies on Skeleton Walk to scout, escape, and set up ambushes with his high burst damage. Charge of Darkness reveals him before he can get his full combo off, and the stun gives Spirit Breaker's team time to collapse. Even without Charge, closing the distance allows Greater Bash to pin Clinkz down, preventing him from kiting or repositioning. This makes it difficult for Clinkz to play his preferred hit-and-run style.

Throughout the game, this threat forces Clinkz to play more cautiously. He can't split push or hunt for supports as freely when Spirit Breaker is missing from the map. This pressure can slow down his farm and force him into buying defensive items like a Linken's Sphere earlier than he'd like, delaying his core damage output. If Clinkz can get a significant gold lead, he might be able to burst Spirit Breaker before the stuns become a factor, but a well-played Spirit Breaker consistently complicates his game plan from start to finish.
