Clinkz vs Undying

How this matchup plays

Trying to burst Undying down is often a mistake for Clinkz. The plan for Clinkz is to find a lone hero, apply Tar Bomb, and kill them with a barrage of fiery arrows before help arrives. Undying, however, is designed to survive exactly that kind of attention. He's naturally durable, and each cast of Decay makes him even harder to kill while weakening Clinkz in return. If Undying drops a Tombstone, the fight becomes cluttered with zombies, which are terrible targets for a single-target hero and can body-block an escape.

The matchup often comes down to which hero can better execute their team's game plan. Clinkz needs to play a game of avoidance, using his invisibility to find and eliminate Undying's squishier teammates to build a lead. Undying, in contrast, wants to force the issue, grouping with his team and using Flesh Golem and Tombstone to create a chaotic teamfight where Clinkz struggles to find a good target. If Clinkz is forced into five-on-five brawls early, he will have a bad time. If Undying's team is constantly playing a hero down, he can't build the momentum he needs.
