Clinkz vs Warlock

How this matchup plays

Picking a fragile support like Warlock into an invisible burst hero feels risky, and for good reason. Clinkz exists to find and delete a hero like Warlock before he can contribute to a fight. If Clinkz finds him alone, Warlock usually dies without getting his spells off. However, Warlock's entire kit can punish that aggression. A pre-cast Shadow Word can sometimes provide enough health to survive the initial burst, and Fatal Bonds makes Clinkz think twice about committing near other units. The whole matchup hinges on whether Clinkz can get a clean kill or if Warlock can stall for help.

In practice, this means Warlock has to play incredibly carefully, always staying with his team and behind protective vision. Clinkz, in turn, has to bide his time, waiting for that one moment of positional error. The fight is often decided by a single spell. If Warlock lands a Chaotic Offering on top of Clinkz, the gank is completely reversed. If Clinkz gets his full burst off before Warlock can react, a key teamfight ultimate is removed from the game. It really comes down to which hero initiates on their own terms.
