Clinkz vs Weaver

How this matchup plays

Relying on Time Lapse to survive is Weaver's whole game plan, but Clinkz's damage is often too fast for him to react. A single Tar Bomb makes it impossible to escape with Shukuchi, setting up an easy Burning Barrage that can kill Weaver from full health. Because all of Clinkz's damage is so front-loaded, Weaver frequently dies before he ever gets a chance to press his ultimate. Weaver’s naturally low armor and small health pool make him an ideal target for this kind of rapid physical burst from the start.

This forces Weaver to play cautiously for the entire game. Once the lanes break down, Clinkz can actively hunt him with detection, shutting down his ability to farm safely. Weaver's options are to either build early defensive items that delay his core timings or to group with his team much earlier than he'd like, which also hurts his farm. Both heroes want to play a similar solo pick-off style, but Clinkz is far better at initiating that fight, leaving Weaver with very few safe places on the map.
