Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Dark Seer wins the Dark Seer vs Doom matchup: Dark Seer beats Doom in 50.87% of 14,084 ranked matches.
Thinking that Dark Seer's kit automatically counters Doom is a common trap. While Ion Shell makes laning difficult for a melee hero and Surge provides a great escape from ganks, the matchup isn't that simple. Doom's entire goal is to delete one hero from the fight with his ultimate. If he successfully jumps on Dark Seer, there will be no Wall of Replica or crucial Surge to save a core. Doom's ability to farm quickly with Devour means he often gets his Blink Dagger early enough to find these pickoffs. The outcome depends entirely on who gets the jump: Doom locking down a target or Dark Seer enabling his team's chaotic fight.
