Dark Seer vs Sniper

How this matchup plays

Closing the gap on Sniper is the whole game for Dark Seer. A well-timed Surge on a core, or a surprise Blink-Vacuum, can pull Sniper out of position and get him killed before he can react. Dark Seer’s Wall of Replica can also turn a farmed Sniper’s own damage back on him. However, Sniper’s whole game plan is to stay out of that range. He uses his superior attack distance and Shrapnel charges to control space, making it very difficult for anyone to run at him without being slowed and damaged from a screen away.

The result is a standoff that often hinges on item timings and team execution. Dark Seer’s team wants to force fights in tight areas where a Vacuum is more likely to connect. Sniper's team, on the other hand, will look to establish vision and play on high ground, giving him the space to whittle opponents down safely. Neither hero naturally dominates the other; victory usually goes to the player who better anticipates the enemy's positioning and forces a fight on their own terms.
