Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Dark Willow wins the Dark Willow vs Lycan matchup: Dark Willow beats Lycan in 50.28% of 4,179 ranked matches.
Deciding to pick one of these heroes into the other creates a real skill check for both players. During Shapeshift, Lycan can often close the distance on Dark Willow before she can react, overwhelming her with his speed and summoned units. On the other hand, Willow's entire kit is built to handle this exact kind of aggression. Bramble Maze can root him in place, Cursed Crown punishes him for committing to a target, and Shadow Realm lets her dodge his initial burst. If he gets too close, Terrorize completely resets the fight. This matchup often comes down to who gets the jump and who has better positioning, leaving the outcome balanced on a knife's edge.
