Dawnbreaker vs Gyrocopter

How this matchup plays

Getting jumped by a Dawnbreaker is a death sentence for Gyrocopter. She can close the distance instantly with Celestial Hammer and follow up with a full Starbreaker combo before he can escape. Gyrocopter is a fragile hero who needs space to deal damage with Flak Cannon, but Dawnbreaker's entire kit is built to get on top of a target and stay there. His Homing Missile stun isn't enough to reliably peel her off, and he can't survive a direct trade against her high burst damage and durability.

This pressure defines the game from the moment Dawnbreaker can use Solar Guardian. Gyrocopter can't farm a lane aggressively because a gank could arrive from anywhere on the map. In teamfights, he's always the primary target, forcing him to build defensive items like a Force Staff or Black King Bar much earlier than he'd like. This delays his core damage items and gives Dawnbreaker's team a huge window to control the map and end the game before he can become a real threat.
