Dazzle vs Ember Spirit

How this matchup plays

Trying to land a kill on Dazzle's team can be frustrating as an Ember Spirit. Your game plan revolves around bursting down a key target with Searing Chains and Sleight of Fist, but Shallow Grave completely denies that initial kill. This forces Ember to overcommit or disengage with his target still alive, throwing off his tempo. While Ember can dodge projectiles with Sleight of Fist, Dazzle's Poison Touch is another annoyance that makes it difficult to secure kills or escape cleanly. The constant threat of a save makes every one of Ember Spirit's kill attempts a gamble.

Later on, the matchup becomes a game of positioning. A smart Ember Spirit will try to find and eliminate Dazzle first, since Dazzle himself is fragile and dies quickly if initiated on. This puts the pressure on Dazzle to stay deep in the backline, ready to react. If Ember can't get to him, he’s forced to either wait out Shallow Grave's cooldown or try to burst through the healing from Shadow Wave, both of which give the enemy team time to respond and turn the fight.
