Dazzle vs Luna

How this matchup plays

Trying to burst someone down with Luna's Eclipse is often the core of this matchup. Dazzle's Shallow Grave is the perfect answer, completely negating the magical burst and buying enough time for a turnaround. This creates a standoff where neither hero has a clear upper hand. While Dazzle's spells wear people down, Luna can farm incredibly fast with Moon Glaives, allowing her to get a Black King Bar sooner than many other carries. Once she has that, she can ignore Poison Touch and pressure Dazzle's team during its duration, creating her own window of opportunity.

The game often comes down to timing and positioning. Luna wants to force fights where she can isolate a target away from Dazzle or catch him out of position before he can cast Grave. A successful Eclipse on a key support can decide the teamfight before it properly begins. Dazzle, on the other hand, plays for a longer fight. His goal is to survive the initial onslaught, get his save spells off, and then let his team capitalize on the armor reduction from Bad Juju to bring Luna down after her BKB has expired.
