Dazzle vs Razor

How this matchup plays

Static Link’s steady drain of damage presents a unique problem for Dazzle. Shallow Grave is at its best when stopping a huge burst of damage, but Razor doesn't work that way. He's perfectly happy to keep attacking a Graved target, since his link continues to steal damage and he'll be ready to land the killing blow the instant the invulnerability wears off. This means Razor's primary damage spell isn't completely wasted the way a big ultimate might be. Instead of negating Razor’s threat, the grave simply delays it, forcing a different kind of response.

Throughout the game, this becomes a fight over positioning and follow-up. Dazzle's team wants to use the duration of Shallow Grave to break the Static Link tether and get the target to safety, using things like Force Staff or Dazzle’s own slows. Razor’s team wants to do the opposite: chain stuns on the Graved hero so they can't escape before the effect ends. Since both strategies are viable, the outcome usually depends on which team has the better tools for controlling movement and who executes their plan more cleanly.
