Dazzle vs Sniper

How this matchup plays

Trying to save an ally with Shallow Grave against a Sniper can feel like you're only delaying the inevitable. Dazzle relies on that period of invulnerability to heal his target or reposition them, but Sniper can often wait out the duration from a safe distance. Once Grave expires, a single well-timed attack or an Assassinate from across the screen is usually enough to secure the kill. Dazzle simply lacks the range to contest Sniper or protect his target from that final blow, forcing his team to either win the fight decisively during Grave's uptime or lose their teammate.

The outcome of teamfights often comes down to which team can better control the positioning. If Dazzle's allies have the tools to jump and burst Sniper, his low durability makes him an easy target, especially with the armor reduction from Dazzle's abilities. However, if Sniper gets to set up on high ground or behind his tankier teammates, he can methodically pick apart the enemy frontline. Dazzle’s spells become less effective when he can’t safely get into casting range, leaving Sniper free to dictate the engagement from afar.
