Dazzle vs Void Spirit

How this matchup plays

Trying to secure a kill on a priority target can feel awkward against Dazzle. Void Spirit's entire pattern is about dealing lethal damage in a short window and getting out. Shallow Grave is a direct answer to that, potentially absorbing his full combo and leaving the target alive. This turns a clean pickoff into a risky overextension. If Void Spirit can't finish the job, Dazzle's Poison Touch makes it harder for him to disengage with Astral Step, as the slow can stick on him and allow for an easy counter-initiation.

Throughout the mid-game, this forces the Void Spirit to play differently. He has to consider if he can kill Dazzle first, bait out the Grave on a less important hero, or find someone completely isolated. This hesitation can cost him the perfect moment to strike. Dazzle's main job is simply to position well, staying far enough back to avoid being the initial target himself. The advantage isn't huge because a well-played Void Spirit can still find opportunities, especially if Grave is on cooldown or if Dazzle is stunned or silenced.
