Void Spirit is a slippery burst mid whose Aether Remnant pulls, Dissimilate blinks through enemies, and Astral Step dashes for surprise damage — extremely hard to pin. He's strong into immobile heroes who can't punish his dashes: Mars, Nature's Prophet and Timbersaw can't catch him. Void Spirit is countered by AoE and permanent-presence threats: Meepo swarms him, Night Stalker hunts him at night, and Wraith King or Spectre out-tank or out-scale. Draft tip: Void Spirit is a strong mobile-burst mid into squishy, low-AoE drafts; he's weaker into Meepo, hard-vision (Night Stalker), and late-game hard-carries.

Void Spirit's Aether Remnant and Resonant Pulse reward clumped enemies, and his mobility lets him follow up any engage — he's a self-sufficient burst mid who wants AoE lock. He pairs best with control and durable cores: Spectre and Wraith King hold the line while he bursts, and Tidehunter provides the AoE lock that turns his dives into wipes. Give Void Spirit a clump-and-lock setup and his Remnant-pull burst shreds grouped fights.
