Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Death Prophet wins the Death Prophet vs Morphling matchup: Death Prophet beats Morphling in 50.90% of 7,147 ranked matches.
Running at Morphling with Exorcism can backfire badly. He has the tools to completely bypass that sustained damage plan. A full agility Adaptive Strike, often paired with other burst sources, can delete Death Prophet before her ghosts and Spirit Siphon have a chance to heal her through the incoming damage. On the other hand, it's far from a guaranteed kill for him. If Death Prophet lands her Silence first, it can leave Morphling stranded, unable to execute his combo or escape with Waveform. The fight often comes down to who gets the jump and lands their key spell, making it a very even exchange.
