How this matchup plays

Thinking Lion's instant Hex is a clean answer to Disruptor often leads to trouble. While Hex is fast, Disruptor's Glimpse can pull Lion out of position before he gets a chance to cast it. Kinetic Field also forces Lion to use his disable defensively or risk getting caught inside. If Disruptor lands the initial Glimpse into a Static Storm, Lion has no defensive tools to escape the silence and damage. It really comes down to who gets the jump on whom. Both heroes are fragile and rely on getting their spells off first to control a fight, making their direct duels very volatile.

Throughout the game, this matchup is a tense battle for vision and positioning. A Disruptor plays from the back, using Glimpse to punish aggressive moves from Lion or his team and neutralize a Blink Dagger initiation. Lion, on the other hand, looks for any opportunity to jump from the fog with his own Blink, aiming to Hex and Finger of Death Disruptor before he can react.
