Disruptor vs Magnus

How this matchup plays

Catching a multi-hero Reverse Polarity is what Magnus lives for, but Disruptor is one of the best heroes at punishing that exact scenario. If Disruptor can avoid the initial stun, a Static Storm placed on the clumped-up enemies will turn Magnus's perfect setup into a disaster for his own team. Glimpse is also a constant headache for Magnus, as it can completely undo a Skewer play, either by pulling an escaping ally back to safety or yanking Magnus himself into a bad spot. This creates a tense dynamic where a good play from one hero can be immediately undone by the other.

As the game progresses, fights often hinge on this interaction. Magnus will look for an opening to jump on and burst down Disruptor before he can cast anything. In response, Disruptor is forced to play from the back lines, using vision and his long cast ranges to stay safe until after Reverse Polarity is used. The outcome of a teamfight frequently comes down to which of these key ultimates lands more effectively.
