Disruptor vs Morphling

How this matchup plays

Trying to split-push or farm an aggressive lane against a Disruptor is often a losing proposition for Morphling. The core issue is Glimpse. A Morphling that uses Waveform to escape is immediately pulled back into danger, completely negating his primary escape tool. This setup is made worse by Kinetic Field and Static Storm, which trap him in place and can prevent him from using Attribute Shift to survive the incoming damage. A hero built around agility and escape finds himself completely stationary and vulnerable.

This dynamic pressures Morphling’s game from the start, making it harder for him to find the farm he needs. However, the advantage isn't absolute. It relies on Disruptor’s team being ready to follow up on the lockdown. A savvy Morphling will also rush items like Black King Bar to nullify the control, or use his ultimate to Morph into a more durable hero to wait out the spells. If Disruptor misses his window or his team is out of position, Morphling can still slip away and eventually out-scale the threat.
