Disruptor vs Razor

How this matchup plays

Using Static Link is central to Razor's game plan, but Disruptor's Glimpse is a direct answer. Sending Razor back to where he was a few seconds ago instantly breaks the link and resets the fight. Kinetic Field and Static Storm also create major problems for a hero who wants to run at a specific target. However, Razor's natural speed from Storm Surge can help him reposition or escape the field's edges. If Razor manages to get his link off first, especially on a core, he can often become too strong for Disruptor's lockdown to matter before the damage is done.

The whole game becomes a battle of initiation and item timings. Razor will almost always get a Black King Bar to ignore Disruptor's spells, forcing Disruptor to play patiently. A good Disruptor will wait for the BKB to end or look for opportunities to Glimpse Razor back after he uses a Town Portal Scroll. Ultimately, fights depend on whether Razor can successfully connect to his primary target or if the Disruptor can keep him controlled and kited. It's a genuine skill matchup where either hero's plan can succeed depending on the execution.
