Disruptor vs Tusk

How this matchup plays

Jumping on a target as Tusk feels risky when a Disruptor is on the other team. A perfect Snowball initiation can be completely undone by a single Glimpse, sending Tusk right back where he came from with his spells on cooldown. This forces him to play much more cautiously. However, the reverse is also true. Disruptor is a fragile hero with no mobility, making him an ideal target for Tusk's high-burst damage. If Tusk can get the drop on Disruptor, he can often delete him before a Static Storm or Kinetic Field comes out.

Throughout the game, this becomes a tense battle of positioning and vision. Tusk wants to find openings from the side of a fight to assassinate a key hero, while Disruptor wants to stay in the back and use his control to punish any aggression. The outcome of a fight can hinge on whether Tusk can kill his target before Disruptor can Glimpse them, or if Disruptor can land his ultimate before Tusk can save an ally with a defensive Snowball. It's a standoff where the player with better reactions and awareness usually comes out ahead.
