Disruptor vs Zeus

How this matchup plays

Trying to set up the map for picks is much harder for Disruptor when facing a Zeus. Zeus can check for wards and heroes in trees from a safe distance with Lightning Bolt, making it difficult for Disruptor to find a good hiding spot for a Glimpse. Before any important fight or objective, a single Thundergod's Wrath can reveal Disruptor's flanking position, completely spoiling the initiation. This forces Disruptor to play from much safer, less impactful positions or risk getting caught before he can even cast his spells.

This information advantage allows Zeus's team to push objectives and control the map more confidently. The burden falls on Disruptor's team to use Smoke of Deceit to find an opening. The matchup isn't fully one-sided, however. Zeus is very fragile and has no escape mechanism, making him an ideal target for Disruptor's lockdown. If Glimpse connects, Zeus will almost certainly die inside Kinetic Field and Static Storm. The main difficulty for Disruptor is consistently creating that opportunity.
