Doom vs Marci

How this matchup plays

Catching Marci with Doom's ultimate is the main goal, but it’s tricky. Her whole kit is about quick movement and repositioning. She can use Rebound to jump away or Dispose to throw an ally out of danger, making it hard for Doom to get in range. Even if Doom lands his ultimate, Marci’s team is often right there with her, ready to counter. If she gets Unleash started before the Doom comes out, the fight can spiral out of control before the silence and mute even matter, as she can often finish a target or reposition before her abilities are disabled.

This creates a slight tempo advantage for Marci's team in mid-game fights. Doom has to be very careful about his positioning, often waiting for Marci to commit to a target before he can counter-initiate. A smart Doom player might even ignore Marci and use his ultimate on a key support to even the odds. Marci, on the other hand, wants to force the issue, jumping on a vulnerable hero and making it impossible for Doom to get a clean ultimate off on anyone important. The fight often hinges on who gets to pick their ideal target first.
