Dragon Knight vs Juggernaut

How this matchup plays

Picking Dragon Knight to be a frontline stunner can feel a bit awkward against a Juggernaut. The main issue is Dragon Tail. A good Juggernaut can react with Blade Fury, making himself magic immune and completely negating the stun. This allows him to either walk away from a gank or turn and fight while Dragon Knight's main lockdown is on cooldown. While Dragon Knight is durable enough to survive a lot of punishment, Juggernaut's ability to consistently dodge that key initiation spell gives him an important advantage in skirmishes and prevents DK from reliably setting up kills.

As the game progresses, this forces the Dragon Knight's team to play differently. DK wants to use his Dragon Form to push and start fights, but Juggernaut can't be easily pinned down by him. The Juggernaut player will often try to bait out the stun before committing Omnislash on a softer target. To win these engagements, the Dragon Knight's side needs other heroes to provide the lockdown required to control Juggernaut, because relying on DK's stun alone often isn't enough to get the job done.
