How this matchup plays

Trading objectives across the map often decides the outcome. Luna's Moon Glaives allow her to farm waves and jungle camps at an incredible pace, building an item advantage if she isn't pressured. In response, Dragon Knight uses his Dragon Form cooldown to group with his team and force down towers, creating a different kind of pressure. This creates a core tension between Luna's economic acceleration and DK's objective-based timings. While Dragon Knight is very durable, Luna's sustained physical damage wears him down, and her Eclipse can be a major threat if he gets caught out of position.

A typical game involves Dragon Knight trying to force the pace whenever his ultimate is available. His team will group up, looking to catch Luna with a Dragon Tail stun to secure a kill and an objective. Luna’s team, in turn, will try to split the map, forcing DK to react to her own team’s tower pressure. She wants to avoid direct fights until she has key survival items like a Black King Bar. The matchup often feels like a race, with both heroes excelling at taking buildings but doing so in very different ways.
