Dragon Knight vs Spectre

How this matchup plays

Trying to burst down Spectre is a losing proposition for Dragon Knight’s whole team. Her Dispersion reflects damage back to everyone nearby, so the more your allies commit to killing her, the faster they die themselves. Dragon Knight is great at stunning a target with Dragon Tail and standing on the frontline, but he has no way to actually kill Spectre on his own. He creates an opening for his team, but they get heavily punished for using it, while Spectre is tanky enough to usually survive the initial stun.

This dynamic shapes the entire game. Dragon Knight wants to group up and force objectives in the mid-game, using his durability to create space. Spectre counters this by farming safely anywhere on the map, ready to join a fight instantly with Haunt to pick off DK's vulnerable backline. As the game goes on, Dragon Knight's damage doesn't scale, and he becomes a walking stun that can't threaten a farmed Spectre. His team has to win the game before Spectre gets her core items, or she will eventually overwhelm them in fights.
