Drow Ranger vs Enchantress

How this matchup plays

A common mistake is assuming Drow Ranger can right-click Enchantress down. In a straight trade, the attack slow from Untouchable neuters Drow's damage, letting Enchantress sustain through it with Nature's Attendants or turn the fight completely. The matchup isn't about trading hits. Drow's main contribution here is Gust. A well-timed silence creates a crucial window to prevent the heal and burst Enchantress before her passive really matters. Without that silence, Drow often finds herself unable to overcome the constant healing and attack speed reduction.

This can make the early game difficult for Drow Ranger, since Enchantress can be an aggressive and durable lane opponent. Later on, the dynamic depends entirely on initiation. If Drow's team can lock Enchantress down and she can follow up with Gust, the kill is straightforward. But if Enchantress gets to position freely or Drow gets jumped first, it becomes a much harder fight. Ultimately, Drow Ranger provides a clear answer to Enchantress's survivability, and having that tool on the team tilts things slightly in her favor.
