Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Primal Beast wins the Drow Ranger vs Primal Beast matchup: Primal Beast beats Drow Ranger in 53.11% of 12,393 ranked matches.
Thinking you can kite Primal Beast forever with Frost Arrows is a common mistake. The reality is that his Onslaught charge closes the distance far too quickly for Drow Ranger to react reliably. Once he's in her face, her Marksmanship bonus disappears, and she's too fragile to trade hits. A good Gust can push him away, but it's a temporary solution against his mobility. The real issue is Pulverize, which goes straight through Black King Bar. Primal Beast doesn't need to break through her defenses with damage; he can simply charge in, grab her, and hold her down for his team to finish off, completely bypassing her typical late-game survivability plan.
