Controlling space is the core of this matchup, and both heroes have the tools to do it well. Ringmaster's goal is to collapse on Drow Ranger with his hypnotic abilities, pulling her out of position and disabling her Marksmanship. Getting caught this way is often a death sentence for Drow. On the other hand, Drow has the perfect counter-initiation in Gust. A single well-timed silence can stop Ringmaster's entire combo, knocking him back and leaving him vulnerable.
