Drow Ranger vs Snapfire

How this matchup plays

Trying to close the distance on Drow Ranger is the whole game, and Snapfire has the perfect tool for it. A well-placed Firesnap Cookie can land right on Drow, stunning her long enough to disable Marksmanship and let Snapfire shred through her armor. From the other side, Drow isn't helpless. A good Gust will cancel Mortimer's Kisses from a safe distance or push an aggressive Snapfire away, creating all the space Drow needs to kite with Frost Arrows. Both heroes have a way to shut down the other's primary plan, but it requires sharp timing.

This tension defines the matchup from start to finish. In lane, Snapfire’s burst damage can easily bully and kill a fragile Drow. As the game progresses, it becomes a fight over vision and positioning. If Snapfire’s team finds Drow alone, a Cookie combo almost guarantees a kill. But a farmed Drow Ranger who sees the gank coming can often kill Snapfire before she even gets in range to use her spells. Success usually depends on which team better enables their hero's preferred engagement distance.
