Drow Ranger vs Undying

How this matchup plays

Putting Drow Ranger up against Undying often comes down to how well her team can deal with Tombstone. Drow excels at bringing down single, high-priority targets from a distance, but a swarm of zombies completely disrupts this plan. Each zombie's attack slows her, making it difficult to kite, and her high-damage single arrows are inefficient for clearing them out. In lane, repeated casts of Decay can drain Drow's health pool and make her an easy target for a gank, preventing her from getting the farm she needs.

Early teamfights are where Undying's advantage is most pronounced. If Drow's team can't focus down the Tombstone quickly, she'll get overwhelmed and die. Her survival often depends on her allies having enough area damage to clear the way. The matchup isn't one-sided, though. If Drow Ranger weathers the difficult mid-game, her damage eventually scales to the point where she can destroy the Tombstone from a safe distance. With the right items, she can also reposition or simply kill Undying before he can cause too much trouble.
