Earthshaker vs Luna

How this matchup plays

Thinking Echo Slam will solve a Luna problem is a common trap. The ultimate relies on multiple units to deal its signature damage, and Luna fights as a single hero, giving Earthshaker's big spell very little to work with. The fight is not about Echo Slam. Instead, it’s a raw contest between Earthshaker’s chain-stuns and Luna's raw damage output. A long-range Fissure can be a death sentence for her, but if he gets too close, her own Eclipse can delete him before he finishes his combo.

During the laning phase, Luna is vulnerable to ganks set up by Fissure, as she has no natural escape. This gives Earthshaker an early edge. The entire matchup flips, however, once Luna acquires a Black King Bar. With her magic immunity active, she can ignore Earthshaker completely and focus on her targets. The game then becomes about timing and positioning. Earthshaker must wait for BKB to run out or catch Luna without it, while Luna tries to leverage that window of immunity to end the fight before he gets another chance.
