How this matchup plays
Trying to control a teamfight against Lycan is a losing battle. Elder Titan's key spells, Earth Splitter and Echo Stomp, are simply too slow and predictable to lock down a target that moves with the speed of Shapeshift. Since he can’t be slowed during his ultimate, Lycan can run straight through the Splitter's path or reposition to avoid the Stomp entirely. Beyond his own survival, Lycan’s wolves and dominated creeps give Elder Titan fits. They can easily swarm him, interrupt his channel on Echo Stomp, and provide too many bodies for his single-target focused kit to handle. This leaves Lycan free to take over the map and hunt heroes at will.
