Ember Spirit vs Warlock

How this matchup plays

Picking an Ember Spirit into a Warlock is a bet on your own execution. The whole matchup hinges on a few key spells. Warlock’s Chaotic Offering can be devastating, as its stun can catch Ember even during Sleight of Fist if timed correctly. Fatal Bonds also turns Ember’s own area damage against him, especially when he tries to hit multiple targets. However, Ember Spirit has the tools to play around this. A well-placed Fire Remnant provides an instant escape from the golem or a messy Upheaval, while Flame Guard can absorb much of Warlock's sustained damage.

This tension defines the fights all game. Ember’s goal is to initiate from fog, bursting Warlock down before he can react with his ultimate.
