Enchantress vs Lich

How this matchup plays

Laning against Lich can feel particularly punishing for Enchantress. Her defense is built around high movement speed and healing from Nature's Attendants, which are great against physical damage but do little to stop magical burst. Lich brings exactly that. A single Frost Blast is a significant chunk of her small health pool, making it difficult for her to trade effectively. Later in the game, his Chain Frost is a massive threat in teamfights, as Enchantress often positions herself at a distance where the ultimate can easily find and eliminate her before she gets many Impetus attacks off.

This pressure forces Enchantress to play more cautiously than she would prefer. She has to respect Lich's spell range at all stages of the game, which can limit her aggression. However, the matchup is far from decided by this. Enchantress is naturally very fast and can often out-maneuver Lich to avoid his spells. If she gets a lead and can afford a Black King Bar, Lich's ability to threaten her drops off significantly. It becomes a game of cat and mouse, where Lich tries to land his key spells before Enchantress can get her items and take over the fight.
