Enchantress vs Magnus

How this matchup plays

Trying to collapse on an Enchantress can be frustrating for a Magnus team. Magnus wants to use Reverse Polarity to set up a kill for his Empowered carry, but Enchantress's Untouchable severely slows down incoming physical attacks. This makes her a surprisingly durable target for a right-clicking core to chew through, even when stunned. However, she has no innate way to avoid the initial stun of RP, and Magnus's own Shockwave contributes decent magic damage to a team burst. Her pure damage from Impetus also means she can effectively whittle Magnus down from a safe distance, ignoring his armor if she can maintain spacing.

The outcome of their interactions really depends on who else is involved. If Magnus catches Enchantress alongside her more fragile teammates, she's likely to die in the collateral spell damage that follows a good Reverse Polarity. If he is forced to use his ultimate on her alone, it often feels like a poor trade, as she can frequently survive the follow-up from a physical carry. This forces the Magnus player to decide if catching her is worth the long cooldown, while Enchantress must play a careful positioning game, knowing a single misstep could get her caught.
