Enigma vs Faceless Void

How this matchup plays

Landing a big teamfight ultimate gets tricky when both sides have a hero that does the same thing. Faceless Void's Chronosphere is an instant-cast ability that locks down everything inside it, including an Enigma channeling Black Hole. Since Chronosphere pierces spell immunity, it's a reliable way to stop Enigma's main contribution. However, this relies on Void seeing Enigma first. If Enigma gets the jump from fog of war, his Black Hole can easily catch an unprepared Faceless Void, who can't use Time Walk to escape while stunned.

The matchup becomes a game of vision control and initiation. Both teams play around their big cooldowns, creating a tense standoff. Faceless Void often has to be the one to start the fight, looking to catch Enigma before he can get into position. Enigma's team, in turn, needs to play patiently, using smokes or hiding their initiator to wait for Chronosphere to be used on someone else. The fight often comes down to which hero gets their spell off correctly, making the outcome highly dependent on positioning and team execution rather than an inherent hero advantage.
