How this matchup plays

Picking Ogre Magi into an Enigma is a bet on controlling the early teamfights. Ogre provides a simple, reliable stun with Fireblast that can instantly cancel Black Hole. This threat forces the Enigma to be extremely careful with positioning, as even a moment of visibility can be enough for Ogre to shut down the entire spell. Since Ogre is naturally durable, he isn't afraid of walking through Midnight Pulse or taking stray hits to get in range. His presence alone makes Enigma hesitate, which can be a huge disruption on its own.

The game then becomes a race against the clock. Before Enigma gets a Black King Bar, Ogre Magi's team can confidently force fights and take objectives, knowing they have a direct answer to his ultimate. They will try to build a lead during this window. However, once Enigma finishes his BKB, Ogre’s main tool for stopping him is gone.
