Enigma vs Wraith King

How this matchup plays

Landing a perfect Black Hole on the enemy team feels great until Wraith King stands back up a moment later. Enigma's entire game plan revolves around that ultimate, but Reincarnation effectively negates its impact. Even if Wraith King dies inside the spell, he comes back at full strength ready to fight while Black Hole is on its long cooldown. If Wraith King isn't caught, he can simply use his stun to cancel the channel from a safe distance. It’s a fundamental mismatch of ultimates where one hero’s core identity completely invalidates the other's.

This dynamic forces the Enigma player into an awkward position all game. They have to constantly track Reincarnation's cooldown or hope to catch the rest of the team far away from their carry. Wraith King, meanwhile, can play with confidence, knowing the enemy's biggest teamfight spell isn't a real threat to him. He can even position aggressively to bait the ultimate, knowing he'll survive and his team can clean up. The pressure is entirely on Enigma to find a perfect, rare scenario to be effective, while Wraith King can often run straight at him and win.
