Committing to a Black Hole against an enemy Spirit Breaker creates constant tension. Spirit Breaker's Charge of Darkness offers a reliable, map-wide answer to Enigma's ultimate, stunning through spell immunity and often arriving with little warning. This threat alone can force the Enigma to play cautiously, holding his spell until Spirit Breaker is accounted for. However, the interaction isn't one-sided. A well-timed Malefice can stun the charging hero on arrival, and allies can provide their own stuns to protect the channel. The fight often revolves around whether Spirit Breaker's initiation is faster than the protection Enigma's team can offer.

Success in this matchup depends entirely on execution and vision control. The Spirit Breaker player will often stay off the map, forcing Enigma to hesitate or risk a cancelled ultimate.
