Faceless Void vs Razor

How this matchup plays

Trying to use Static Link feels incredibly risky against Faceless Void. He can often break the tether instantly with Time Walk, denying Razor the stolen damage and repositioning safely. The much larger threat, however, is Chronosphere. It completely neutralizes Razor by freezing him in place, making it impossible to maintain his link or kite with his passive speed. This shuts off the core of what makes Razor dangerous in a teamfight, leaving him a sitting duck for Void and his allies to burst down.

This dynamic creates a race against the clock. Early in the lane, Razor usually has the upper hand and can make last hitting miserable for Faceless Void with Static Link. The matchup hinges on what happens after this laning stage. If Razor can leverage an early lead to pressure the map and end the game quickly, Void may never get the space he needs. If the game extends, however, every fight becomes a test of positioning where a single Chronosphere catching Razor can decide the outcome.
