Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Shadow Shaman wins the Faceless Void vs Shadow Shaman matchup: Shadow Shaman beats Faceless Void in 55.41% of 53,722 ranked matches.
Thinking you can trap and kill Shadow Shaman inside Chronosphere is a common mistake. If Shaman survives the initial jump or isn't caught at all, he can drop Mass Serpent Ward right on the edge. The moment Chronosphere ends, Faceless Void is met with an instant Hex or Shackles, trapping him in a sea of wards with no escape. This completely reverses the situation. Before fights even start, Shadow Shaman makes it incredibly dangerous for Faceless Void to look for an opening. A single Time Walk into vision can be punished with a long-duration disable, often killing Void before he can even react.
