Faceless Void vs Terrorblade

How this matchup plays

Catching Terrorblade in a Chronosphere seems like an easy kill, but it's rarely that simple. While the ultimate does prevent him from using Sunder, Terrorblade is naturally very durable and builds items that make him even harder to burst down. If Faceless Void can't finish the job inside the Chronosphere, Terrorblade often survives and can turn the fight around completely. Void can use Time Walk to dodge a key Reflection, but the fight is almost always decided by whether he has the damage and lockdown to kill Terrorblade before Chronosphere ends.

This leads to a game centered on one long cooldown. Terrorblade and his team will look to force objectives and fights whenever Chronosphere is down, using Metamorphosis to melt towers and supports. The Faceless Void has to play with more patience, farming up and waiting for the perfect opportunity to isolate Terrorblade or catch him without his team nearby to help. A good Chronosphere can win the teamfight, but a whiffed or poorly timed one can easily cost Void his barracks in return.
