Head-to-head Dota 2 7.41f win rate from ranked matches.
In Dota 2 7.41f, Faceless Void wins the Faceless Void vs Tinker matchup: Faceless Void beats Tinker in 52.38% of 20,207 ranked matches.
Trying to split-push and fight from the trees is extremely risky against a Faceless Void. His kit is almost perfectly designed to find and eliminate a slippery hero like Tinker. Chronosphere is the main problem; it completely negates Tinker's ability to Rearm, blink away, or use any defensive items like Ghost Scepter. Faceless Void can simply jump in and kill him without any possible response. Even outside of his ultimate, Time Walk provides a reliable gap-closer and can undo a lot of the long-range burst damage that Tinker relies on. Tinker needs his team to play around him perfectly, because otherwise he’s always one good initiation away from being useless.
