Tinker (Boush) in Dota 2 7.41: win rate, pick rate, the heroes Tinker counters and struggles against, and its best teammates — from recent ranked matches by Batru's AI win-prediction pipeline.
Tinker is a spell-spam nuker whose Rearm resets Laser and Missiles for relentless burst and global pressure with Defense Matrix and travel. In patch 7.41, though, Tinker is heavily countered — his only winning matchup is a coin-flip into Timbersaw (53.1%). He's dismantled by spell-immunity, mana-burn, and gap-closers: Lifestealer (he loses 39.9%) Rages through everything, Nyx Assassin (40.4%) burns his mana and reflects, and Spectre (40.6%) / Wraith King (40.7%) reach or out-tank him. Draft tip: Tinker is a weak, demanding pick this patch — only viable into immobile, mana-reliant drafts, and a liability into Lifestealer, Nyx, Anti-Mage, and any hard-dive comp.

Tinker offers global nuke pressure and Defense Matrix shields, but he's fragile and selfish — he needs front line, lockdown, and a carry to convert his poke. His best (still sub-50%) pairings are scaling and illusion cores: Spectre (49.7%), Phantom Lancer (49.3%) and Wraith King (49.0%) provide the durable threat he lacks. Given how countered Tinker is right now, treat him as a poke/utility piece behind a strong front line rather than a primary win condition.
