Faceless Void vs Zeus

How this matchup plays

Getting caught in a Chronosphere is often a death sentence for Zeus. He has no natural escape and is completely reliant on his team or a specific item choice to survive the lockdown. Before that point, however, Faceless Void is very vulnerable to Zeus's constant magical harassment. Static Field and Lightning Bolt make it painful for Void to stay in lane or jungle, slowing down his item timings. Time Walk can't undo the global pressure from Thundergod's Wrath, creating a race between two very different power curves.

The matchup usually comes down to Faceless Void's items. If Zeus and his team can apply enough pressure to keep Void poor, they can close out the game before he gets the Black King Bar he needs to ignore Zeus's damage. If the game drags on, the tables turn. A farmed Void can initiate on Zeus from a distance, pop BKB, and kill him before Chronosphere ends. The outcome often depends on which team better enables their hero's specific timing while shutting down the opponent's.
