Nature's Prophet vs Morphling

How this matchup plays

Trying to catch a Morphling with Sprout is usually a waste of time. He can simply use Waveform to get out, leaving Nature's Prophet with his main lockdown tool on cooldown. Even if Prophet brings allies for a gank, Morphling's Attribute Shift makes him incredibly tough to burst down. He can shift to full Strength to survive the initial silence or root, then turn the fight with his high damage. This core interaction means Nature's Prophet can't execute his typical pickoff-focused game plan against one of the enemy's most important heroes.

As the game progresses, Morphling becomes a direct predator to Nature's Prophet. Prophet is fragile and has no innate escape, making him an easy kill for a farmed Morphling who can find him split-pushing. To make matters worse, Morphling can use his ultimate to copy Nature's Prophet and gain access to Teleportation. This allows Morphling to counter ganks, join fights anywhere on the map, or even out-maneuver the Prophet at his own split-pushing game. He effectively nullifies Prophet's global pressure while creating his own.
